Inks Lake Spring 2016

This past weekend I joined some wonderful people on an adventure to Inks Lake in Burnet, TX. Being the first time I've slept in a tent, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but wow, I was pleasantly surprised with one of the best weekends of my college career! Not only was there a plethora of incredible food (tear-inducing peach cobbler from Cooper's and homemade tomato soup with three bags of cheese throughout were just a select few), but the state park was absolutely beautiful as well. The small waterfalls became a great break from the heat in the afternoon and also were a beautiful subject for photographs. We also toured the location of an old, underground speakeasy, with the help of a wannabe Jack Bauer, Longhorn Caverns. Everywhere we found ourselves was absolutely beautiful (12/10 would stand in the waterfall again).
