Paradise in Texas
Recently my friend and I made the drive down to Freeport, TX to spend the day at the beach. It was the first time I'd been to the beach in years (the last time was in Seattle! Just a bit of a scenery change) and though it's no Hawaii, Texas definitely has some good beaches. Although the water was very cold, Freeport was complete with waves, sand, some driftwood, shells, sea glass, and even the picturesque old lady taking her toy poodle to the beach to play in the shallows.
We had one great adventure and getting to play in the sand was just part of it!
